     Acadiana Media, Inc. is a locally owned and operated corporation. The company presently operates two advertising mediums: Acadiana LifeStyle and Great Outdoor Advertising. The corporation began operation in 1977 as the owner/operator of a New Iberia radio station. To further serve the business community, the company expanded into outdoor advertising in 1980, and then launched its publishing division in 1987. The radio station was sold in 2001 to allow the corporation to focus all of its attention to the publishing and outdoor advertising divisions.

Acadiana LifeStyle
     In November 1987, we began publishing Acadiana LifeStyle, a monthly tabloid publication that is a guide to shopping, entertainment and leisure. Our publication distributes 20,500 copies each month reaching over 59,000 readers in Iberia, Lafayette, St. Martin and West St. Mary parishes. Our company also publishes several niche publications including Discover Iberia, the Official Community Resource Guide; Acadiana Health and Wellness Resource, a comprehensive guide to medical practitioners and providers; the Festival Fun Guide, for attendees of our Sugar Cane Festival; and Holiday Sweepstakes, a guide featuring the best gifts for everyone on your wish list.

Great Outdoor Advertising
     The outdoor advertising division began in 1980. From a modest start, Great Outdoor Advertising has grown to provide outdoor advertising services in Iberia, St. Martin, St. Mary and Lafayette parishes. Presently, the company has over 300 8-sheet billboards along with several larger structures. Great Outdoor Advertising can deliver your message to thousands at a very economical cost.
