Imani Temple #49 celebrates Its 20th Anniversary

Ready to rejuvenate your spirit? Then you will want to help Imani Temple #49 celebrate its 20th Anniversary with a “Burst of Imani” Gospel Extravaganza on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. This event will provide Imani (Faith) based inspirational entertainment consisting of gospel singers, choirs, gospel comedy, poetry, praise dance, mime, and more. The extravaganza is free to the public and refreshments will be provided; doors open at 5:30. Monetary donations are requested to support its community outreach programs. Additionally, the weekend celebration will consists of a Ribbon Cutting for Community Garden at Intersection of Louisiana Avenue & Buick Street on Friday, August 9, 2013 at 12:00 P.M. (Noon) and Revival with Archbishop Stallings, Jr. from Washington D.C. at Imani Temple #49 on Friday, August 9, 2013 at 6:30 P.M.
