On Thursday, Dec. 3, Cypress Bayou Casino Hotel made the official announcement that the facility will undergo a $20 million renovation and expansion over the next year. The updates will include new restaurants and shopping experiences.
“This opportunity will spring us forward to the next level and give us the ability to offer the same level of quality, but with a newer and more modern feel,” said CEO and General Manager of Cypress Bayou Casino Hotel Anthony Patrone in a press release.
The renovations will include the new, modern Café Delphine that will replace the former Café Bayou. Café Delphine will provide the same high quality food and service that casino and hotel guests are accustomed to. Renovations will also include the addition of Mabel’s Kitchen. Mabel’s will offer guests quick meal options from hamburgers, to salads, to sandwiches and more. It’s a modern and inviting atmosphere filled with Louisiana influenced art. Guests will also notice the addition of Bizzute’s Gift Shop, where they will find souvenirs, gifts and other items to enhance their stay.
Patrons can also anticipate an upgrade to the casino’s interior and a new high limit area. There will be an expanded pool area that will include a pool bar, lazy river and poolside cabanas.
“This is all to help ensure guests have everything they would expect when visiting a casino hotel, and more,” Patrone continued. “We want to be the premier location for those looking to take a getaway trip or to bring the family along for great food, live entertainment and experiences they’ll never forget.”
