If you’re a Mom or Dad with school-aged children, it probably seems like only yesterday you were purchasing new uniforms and classroom supplies. Well, time flies when the kids are in school; they will be out for the summer break in a mere month or two. Now is the time, to not only start thinking about what they’re going to do for the summer, it’s also the time to start getting them registered for camps and workshops.
To alleviate some of the pressure, we’ve compiled a guide of some of the summer camps and programs available in our five-Parish coverage area of Iberia, Lafayette, St. Martin, St. Mary and Vermilion. The guide is designed to provide a handy resource you can refer to as you engage in the decision making process. Expanded details including pricing, extended hours and meals are available on the organizations’ websites and may also be obtained via telephone.
Editor’s Note: The information listed in this resource reflects details available to us at press time, and thus is subject to cancelations or changes. For up-to-the minute information call the numbers provided or visit the websites. Some camps offer limited enrollment and operate on a “first come, first served” basis so register early!
