February: Happy Cajun Idioms

02/04/2014 08:53AM, Published by Aimee Cormier, Categories: In Print, Today

Happy Cajun Idioms - An idiom says one thing and means something else. For example, saying "That's going to cost an arm and a leg!" really means "this is very expensive." Artist Paul Schexnayder, who produces a "Happy Cajun" line of kitchen items, has drawn two well-known idioms here. If you think you know both phrases shown here, email your answers, your name, mailing address and daytime phone number to editor@acadianalifestlye.com before midnight February 21
If multiple correct answers are received, a drawing will be held to determine winners and announced in the March issue. One winner allowed per household every 90 days in all Acadiana Lifestyle contests. See Happy Cajun art and giftware at www.happycajun.net and Happy Puzzling!
