The Acadian Wind Symphony under the direction of Gerald Guilbeaux will present great music from the movies with a free Summer Concert on Sunday, June 30 at 4:00pm in the Ducrest/Gilfry Auditorium at Angelle Hall.
The concert will begin with the fanfare from “Also Sprach Zarathrustra” by Richard Strauss which was used in the Stanley Kubrick classic “2001: A Space Odyssey.” Also on the program are selections from “Silverado” by Bruce Broughton and a symphonic suite from “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire,” by Patrick Doyle.
